For this assignment, we want you to answer a few questions regarding how you would handle the marketing strategy and communication for HappyChain.
We expect you to put no more than 4 hours of work on these questions.
We recommend starting by being fairly high-level with your answers (especially where strategy is concerned) and filling in the details later if you have time (but no need to go into the nitty-gritty).
Part 1: HappyChain Identity & Strategy
Please read the HappyChain Litepaper an announcement then answer the following questions:
- Given your understanding of HappyChain, what would be your 10-line summary of the Happy Chain brand identity?
- Can you propose strategies for differentiating HappyChain from other blockchain platforms in terms of brand identity, messaging, and visual representation, especially in the context of promoting its unique features and user-friendly approach?
- What would be your marketing plan for the first 6 months? Keep in mind there will be intermediate milestones (angel raise, public testnet) in the run-up to chain launch (whose target is in 6 months).
- Beyond its initial capital and grants, HappyChain will fund itself with an angel raise and then a fair launch LBP. Would you emphasize the fair launch for marketing purposes, and if so how?
Part 2: Content Creation
As Head of Marketing, one of your main tasks will be to create content such as threads, announcements, newsletters, and articles. The most difficult part of this job will be to:
- Understand the HappyChain features, and explain them with simple words.
- Understand what makes HappyChain different and articulate the unique selling point in clear and concise messages across multiple platforms
For this exercise, imagine HappyChain is launching a new Game similar to Words3:
- What would be your communication Strategy on Twitter for launching this game? Which other platforms will you leverage to spread the word?
- Can you make a thread promoting the launch for the HappyChain Twitter account? You can add relevant images or videos (or just describe relevant images or videos we'd have to produce).
Part 3: Community Management
Addressing FUD
Can you describe your approach to managing community feedback and addressing FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt) surrounding new features or developments on HappyChain, ensuring transparency and trust within the community?
As an example, imagine that someone points out that our automation system is centralized and that there are no hard guarantees that we will perform the automation tasks. How would you answer that criticism? (You can assume the limitations of the system are documented and that we’re willing to work on guarantees in the future.)
